Summary
The 1958 protocol between Austria and Yugoslavia called for the Archive Agreement
of 1923 to be implemented. This protocol was necessary to implement restitution
of cultural resources which were taken from Yugoslavia during the Occupation
and in the light of the fact that the actions outlined by the Archive Agreement
of 1923 had not been carried out. This protocol resulted in three volumes of
demands to Austria; the protocol also called for a Mixed Commission to be established
(although this was not implemented until 1961).
