Le programme RAMA (Répertoire des acteurs du marché de l’art sous l’Occupation, 1940-1945) publie une base de données qui documente les différents acteurs du marché de l’art en France sous l’occupation nazie. Cette base compte environ 250 notices biographiques, rédigées par 80 auteurs français et étrangers.
Ce travail reconstitue, de la manière la plus rigoureuse possible, les parcours des hommes et des oeuvres, en mettant en évidence les réseaux complexes. Instrument nouveau au service de la recherche de provenance à échelle internationale, cette étude prosopographique fournira une contribution essentielle à l’analyse et à la compréhension historique et historico-artistique de l’époque de l’Occupation.

Les principaux partenaires et auteurs du projet présenteront la nouvelle base de données à l’occasion de cet après-midi de lancement.

En partenariat avec l’université technique de Berlin (TU Berlin), le Centre de recensement et de gestion des biens culturels disparus et le Centre allemand d’histoire de l’art à Paris (DFK Paris).

The RAMA programme (Directory of actors in the art market in France under the Occupation (1940-1945)) is publishing a database documenting the different actors of the art market in France during the Nazi occupation. This database contains about 250 biographical notes, written by 80 French and foreign authors.
This work reconstructs, in the most rigorous way possible, the paths of men and works, highlighting the complex networks. A new tool for provenance research on an international scale, this prosopographical study will provide an essential contribution to the analysis and historical and historical-artistic understanding of the Occupation period.

The main partners and authors of the project will present the new database on the occasion of this launch.

In partnership with the Technical University of Berlin (TU Berlin), the Lost Art Foundation and the German Centre for Art History in Paris (DFK Paris).
