This is the programme for the one-day online alternative to the postponed AEJM Annual Conference of 2021. There will be no need to purchase a ticket for this event – the programme we offer is free of charge for AEJM members as well as for external guests wishing to join us. The Annual General Meeting for AEJM members will take a similar form as last year in the afternoon.

Registration for the event is required and is open until Friday, 12 November.

The AEJM Annual Conference 2021 has been postponed to the first half of 2022. 

Programme Monday 22 November, 2021:

12:00 CET
Looking Back and Ahead 
Introduction by the chair of the board, Emile Schrijver (Jewish Cultural Quarter, Amsterdam). In this session, we will hear about AEJM pogramming:

• Museum Education Seminars and Training (MEST)* – by Vidar Alne Paulsen (Oslo Jewish Museum) and Kamila Dąbrowska (POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews)
• Curatorial Education Programme (CEP)*
• Lost and Found Database*

*After each segment, participants are invited to type their questions in the chat thread. The moderator will ask the questions by the end of each presentation.

Breakout Rooms (Interactive) 
Participants are invited to chat, to suggest online activities for 2022, and to share expectations of AEJM in the coming year.

13:45-14:45 CET
Presentations
In this session we will here from a few AEJM members about their ongoing projects.

Annual General Meeting
The Board of AEJM will report on past activities and future plans.  Members are requested to send a delegate to the meeting.
