The thirteenth blog post in the series by Dr Greg Bradsher and Dr Sylvia Naylor on the lesser-known individuals involved in Monuments, Fine Arts, and Archives (MFA&A) work during and after World War II. This post highlights the work of Archivist Special Officer Lester Kruger Born. During the 1946-1949 period, Born played an important role in the reconstruction of German archival operations and in the restitution and return of archival materials.
