Description
Bertha
Schaefer Galleries was established in 1944. Initially it specialized in American
artists, but later included European art. The name of the gallery was changed in
1972 to the New Bertha Schaefer Gallery. The records include papers of Bertha
Schaefer Interiors, opened in 1924, and gallery correspondence.
