Summary
In response to a petition from a group of
individuals alleging that Hungary had failed to implement Section 27, paragraph
2 of the Paris Peace Treaty,
the Constitutional
Court instructed the Hungarian Parliament to pass a law and thus comply
with the requirements of the Treaty. Decision No. 16/1993 of 12 March 12
1993 of the Constitutional Court called upon the Parliament to rectify this
unlawful situation without further delay.
