Research into Nazi-confiscated cultural property in the archive's collection
The Stuttgart Municipal Archive has searched through its object acquisition inventory between the dates of 1935 (when this inventory was created) and 1944, when the last wartime entry was made. It has put together a list of silverware items purchased at the municipal pawnshop and at antique dealers between 1937 and 1943, including a collection of 800 handcrafted silver spoons stamped 'Familie Holland' which are believed to be of Jewish origin.

A copy of this list is available from the Central Registry.
