The Dieterle family were dealers who primarily specialised in selling works by Corot but also dealt with other 19th-century European schools of art, particularly the Barbizon school. They also traded Dutch Old Master paintings. Holdings include a collection of records of French art galleries, 1846-1986. Papers include records of Goupil & Cie, Boussod, Valadon & Co, Tedesco Frères, Arnold et Tripp, Allard et Noel, and Galerie Georges Petit.
