The Council of American Jewish Museums concluded its CAJM 2009 Annual Conference in New York City with a half-day program titled "Provenance Research and CAJM Leadership:  Not an Option, an Imperative."

Held on February 4 at the Museum of Modern Art, the session reflected CAJM's ongoing commitment to support best practices in provenance research, particularly that which relates to Nazi-era looted art.

Featured speakers included Konstantin Akinsha, Wesley Fisher, Charles Goldstein, Thomas Kline, Anna Rubin, Gabriel Goldstein, and Karen Franklin.  Chair was Suzanne Lewis of the Ben Uri Gallery, the London Jewish Museum of Art.
